Wonder Mountain Wilderness and the surrounding reaches of the Olympic National Forest dominate this high-elevation terrain in Mason County. The landscape is defined by its drainage systems, most notably the South Fork Skokomish River which flows through the eastern portion of the quadrangle. Significant peaks including Mt Tebo, Capitol Peak, and Mt Church create a complex topography of ridgelines and deep creek valleys.
