Wrangell-Saint Elias National Preserve encompasses most of this 2016 survey, a landscape defined by the intersection of the Alaska Range and the Nutzotin Mountains. The topography is dominated by high summits, notably Mt Allen in the northwest and Warrick Peak to the east. A complex drainage system feeds into the Chisana River, which flows through the eastern portion of the quadrangle.
