New Baltimore and the surrounding shoreline of Anchor Bay define this corner of the St. Clair County and Macomb County border. The coastal settlements of Anchorville, Fair Haven, and Pearl Beach follow the curve of Lake Saint Clair, connected by the Dixie Hwy. This 2014 survey documents the dense network of modern residential developments and private docks that have grown along the water's edge, contrasting with the sprawling marshlands and channels of Dickinson Island and the Saint Clair Flats to the southeast.
