Grandview Lake and Harrison Lake define the eastern water-sculpted landscape of this region on the border of Brown and Bartholomew counties. The area is characterized by a dense network of ridges and hollows, including Pleasant Ridge and Mount Liberty Ridge, which separate the various forks of the South Branch Salt Creek and Wolf Creek. Small settlements and named crossroads like Stony Lonesome, New Bellsville, and Ogilville are connected by winding routes such as Old Nashville Road.
