Runnelstown occupies the northwest corner of this Perry County landscape, situated near where Tallahalla Creek flows beneath the Mississippi Highway 42 Bridge. The terrain is defined by a dense network of minor waterways including Bear Br, Mill Cr, and Burleman Br, which feed into the larger creek system. Numerous small lakes, such as Gandy Lake, Eddy Lake, and Izola Lake, are scattered across the western half of the map, suggesting a low-lying, riparian environment.
