USGS Topo · Published 1970

About this map

Old Monarch Pass and the contemporary Monarch Pass dominate the northern crest of this high-altitude landscape where the Chaffee and Gunnison county lines converge. The terrain is defined by the Continental Divide, a jagged boundary separating the drainages of Fooses Creek and Green Creek in the San Isabel National Forest from the headwaters of Agate Creek and Treasure Creek in the Gunnison National Forest.
