1969 Map of Palmyra

USGS Topo · Published 1977

About this map

The borough of Annville and its neighbor Palmyra serve as the primary anchors for this late-1960s topographic survey of western Lebanon County. The landscape is heavily influenced by the presence of Lebanon Valley College and the industrial activity of several large Quarries and a Gravel Pit along the Conrail lines. Significant historical infrastructure remains visible, including traces of the Union Canal following the path of Swatara Creek in the north.
