Neopit and Zoar sit at the southern edge of this landscape where the Langlade Co and Menominee Co border divides the terrain. This region is defined by a dense network of glacial lakes and creek systems, including Perote Lake, Crowell Lake, and Hazel Lake. The hydrography here is dominated by the West Branch Wolf River and the Evergreen River, which gather waters from numerous smaller tributaries like Elma Cr and Tourtillotte Cr.
