Cathedral Bluffs dominate the eastern reaches of this high-plateau landscape in Rio Blanco County. The drainage network is complex, defined by the Philadelphia Creek system, including the Left Fork Philadelphia Cr and Right Fork Philadelphia Cr. These waterways cut through a series of named draws and canyons that illustrate the erosional character of the region, such as Cow Canyon and Calf Canyon in the southern portion of the quadrangle.
