The agricultural plains of Dooly County are defined by a network of drainage creeks and small rural settlements. Unadilla occupies the northwestern corner of this landscape, situated along the corridor of Interstate 75. Moving eastward, the terrain is shaped by the waters of S Prong Cr and Wildcat Cr, which meander through a patchwork of family-owned farms and woodlands. The community at Mars Hill Crossroads serves as a local landmark in the southern section of the quadrangle.
