Pipe Spring National Monument serves as the focal point of this arid landscape, situated at the base of the Moccasin Mountains. The terrain is defined by a series of significant drainage systems and canyons, including Bulrush Canyon and the winding course of Twomile Wash. These desert washes, such as Bitter Seeps Wash and Pipe Valley Wash, trace the natural flow of water through the high plateau country.
