Pot Mountain dominates the southeastern corner of this Millard County landscape, rising sharply above the surrounding desert floor. The hydrology of the region is defined by the complex, meandering courses of the Sevier River and the Old Channel Sevier River, which create an extensive network of wetlands and seasonal water bodies. This hydraulic system feeds into the Swan Lake Salt Marsh and reaches towards Carr Lake, illustrating the arid-basin drainage patterns typical of this part of Utah.
