Prescott Mountain and the surrounding high country of the Klamath Mountains define this remote drainage network in Siskiyou County. The landscape is characterized by a high density of named peaks and small alpine basins, including Stevens Mountain, Baldy Peak, and Harrington Mountain. These summits serve as the headwaters for numerous waterways that feed into the larger regional systems, most notably the S Fork Smith River and the Prescott Fork.
