Saratoga National Historical Park anchors the southeast corner of this late 1960s survey, marking the revolutionary battlefield with overlooks at Freeman Farm Overlook and Breymann Redoubt Overlook. The landscape is a transition between the developing fringes of Saratoga Springs and the rural farmsteads of Saratoga and Stillwater. Historical settlement patterns are preserved in the numerous named crossroads such as Quaker Springs, Ketchums Corners, and Deans Corners, which served as local hubs for the surrounding agricultural community.
