Rawah Lakes and the high peaks of the Medicine Bow Mountains define this high-altitude landscape along the border of Larimer and Jackson counties. The area is characterized by an extensive network of glacial tarns including Lower Twin Lake, Iceberg Lake, and the uniquely named Sugarbowl Lake. Human intervention in this wilderness environment is evidenced by the Rawah and Lower Supply Ditch, which redirects water from the Rawah Creek drainage.
