Piceance Creek and its network of mountain tributaries define this high-country landscape in Rio Blanco County. The drainage patterns revealed here show a series of nearly parallel gulches, including Enoch Gulch and Big Jimmy Gulch, which cut through the terrain toward the north and east. This 2010 survey illustrates the rural infrastructure of the region, where County Rd 26 and County Rd 5 provide the primary access through the creek valleys.
