Rothville serves as the central hub of this north-central Missouri landscape, situated just south of the border between Linn Co and Chariton Co. The town is anchored by the Rothville Cemetery and defined by a dense network of local roads such as Main St and Bushnell Ave that connect the village to the surrounding agricultural plains. The terrain is deeply carved by a dendritic drainage system, most notably Yellow Cr and its various tributaries, including W Yellow Cr, E Yellow Cr, and Slater Br.
