1992 Map of Ruby

USGS Topo · Published 1996

About this map

The Pend Oreille River bisects this mountainous stretch of Washington, carving a deep valley through the Colville National Forest and Kaniksu National Forest. Along the riverbank, the settlement of Blueslide and the community of Ruby mark established points of human activity, connected by the Pend Oreille Valley Road and the Ruby Ferry Road. The presence of the Diamond City (Site) in the northeastern corner highlights a location of previous habitation or industry near the West Branch of Le Clerc Creek.
