Santa Rita Peak and the high elevations of the Diablo Range define this high-relief landscape along the border of Fresno and San Benito counties. The 2015 topography shows a remote region characterized by sharp ridgelines and complex drainage networks, including Joaquin Ridge and the Three Sisters peaks. Human presence is sparse, marked primarily by the flat ground at Adobe Flat and a network of jeep trails and 4WD roads that navigate the steep terrain between Condon Peak and Wright Mtn. Water sources are vital features in this arid environment, with mapped points including Agua Buena Spring, Rucker Spring, and the high-altitude Spanish Lake. The western portion of the map follows the course of the San Benito River, while the east is dissected by deep canyons like Díaz Canyon and Lewis Canyon.
