1979 Map of Schaller North

USGS Topo · Published 1979

About this map

The Maple Valley floor and the surrounding plateaus of Hayes, Eden, and Eureka townships define this corner of Iowa in the late 1970s. The landscape is a study in organized agriculture, divided by the Buena Vista Co Sac Co line. Drainage patterns are clearly visible where the Little Maple River joins the Maple River, while the southern portion of the sheet is dominated by Halfway Creek and the headwaters of the Boyer River.
