Menahga and Sebeka anchor this central Minnesota landscape, where the prairie begins its transition toward the lake country. The area is defined by a dense network of township roads and drainage systems, including the Cat River and Kitten Cr, which feed into the southward-flowing Redeye River. For family historians, the sheet is particularly valuable for its placement of rural burial grounds, including Mantyla Cem near the center of the quadrangle and Evergreen Cem to the southeast.
