Segura Ranch sits at the northern edge of this high-desert landscape in Nye County, where the Antelope Valley meets the rising terrain of the Antelope Range. This arid environment is defined by its critical water sources, with numerous named springs such as Dick Allison Spring, Quaker Spring, and Blair Spring Two scattered across the slopes. The Toiyabe National Forest boundary encompasses much of the western portion of the sheet, covering prominent landmarks like Applebush Hill. Drainage patterns are dictated by features like Sevenmile Wash and White Rock Cr, which carve through the basin and range topography. The lack of dense settlement beyond the ranch highlights the area's isolation and its historical reliance on the network of springs to support livestock and seasonal travel along the Antelope Valley Rd.
