Toiyabe National Forest lands dominate this central Nevada landscape, where water sources serve as the primary landmarks in an arid basin-and-range environment. The western portion is defined by high ground including Martin Ridge and the Applebush Hill Spur, while the eastern side is occupied by the Antelope Range. Between these uplands lies Antelope Valley, a broad corridor characterized by its network of springs and intermittent drainages.
