Shonto Plateau dominates this high-elevation landscape in Navajo County, defined by deep drainage systems and seasonal water sources. The terrain is deeply incised by Geshi Canyon and Cliff Spring Canyon, which channel intermittent water through the high desert. Settlement is sparse, represented primarily by the transportation corridors of Indian Rte 6310 and Indian Rte 6320.
