Juab Valley serves as a central corridor in this part of central Utah, flanked by the high elevations of the San Pitch Mountains and the lower, weathered formations of the West Hills. Water management is a primary feature of the landscape, anchored by the Chicken Creek Reservoir in the north and a portion of the Sevier Bridge Reservoir in the south. The terrain varies from the alluvial flats of the valley floor to the intricately carved drainages of The Washboard and the steep terrain of the Uinta National Forest boundary. Historical transit is represented by Old State Rte 28 and Old Botham Rd, while several canyon systems, including Chriss Canyon and Flat Canyon, provide natural paths through the eastern peaks. The presence of a Gravel Pit indicates local mineral extraction near the northern valley margins.
