Pisgah anchors the southwestern corner of this survey, situated along the historic corridor of the National Trails Hwy. This segment of the Mojave Desert is dominated by the prominent peaks of the Cady Mountains, including the high point at Cady Peak. The landscape is a study in desert topography, where the steep, volcanic-influenced relief of the north contrasts with the lower reaches to the south.
