Hubbard Cr and its various tributaries wind through this section of West Texas where the rolling plains meet the Shackelford and Callahan county line. The landscape is defined by its water resources and ranching access, featuring Snyder Lake and the nearby Dillen Lake nestled amongst the drainages of Jenkins Cr and Reynolds Cr. A network of rural routes, including W Fm 576 and Co Rd 162, provides access to the interior rangelands.
