Western Texas College and the hub of Snyder occupy the central landscape of this West Texas survey. The area is defined by a dense grid of streets and avenues that transition into a network of rural county roads and farm-to-market routes. To the west, the settlement of Union sits near the headwaters of S Fork Deep Creek, while the southeastern terrain drops into the descriptively named Hell Roaring Hollow.
