Steptoe Valley forms the central character of this 2021 survey, illustrating a high-desert landscape defined by complex water management and rural infrastructure. The eastern slopes of the valley are marked by a series of seasonal drainages, including First Cr, Second Cr, and Third Cr, which descend toward the valley floor. To the west, the Dunham McGill Ditch represents a significant agricultural or industrial water diversion project, cutting across the terrain to feed into localized water storage.
