Draney Peak stands as the prominent high point in this section of the Webster Range, anchoring a landscape defined by deep drainages and high ridgelines within the Caribou National Forest. The eponymous Stewart Flat occupies a central basin, where several primitive paths including the Stewart Flat Trl and Diamond Creek Trl converge. The drainage patterns are intricate, with Diamond Creek flowing south through the center of the quadrangle, joined by tributaries from Hornet Canyon, Bear Canyon, and Smoky Canyon.
