Stroud sits at the northern edge of this landscape, where the street grid of W Main St and E Main St marks a transition from the town center to the sprawling drainage basins of Lincoln County. The southern portion of the map is defined by the winding course of the Deep Fork and its complex network of wetlands, including Todd Lake, Browns Lake, and Clock Lake. This riparian corridor is fed by numerous tributaries such as Wild Horse Cr and Deer Cr, creating a landscape shaped by intermittent water and floodplains.
