To the southeast, the terrain softens slightly around Conger Lake and Conger Pond, providing a contrast to the northern heights of Boulder Mtn. This survey, updated with late-1970s data, records a remote wilderness of the Inland Northwest before modern development altered these traditional trails and drainage basins.
