Tetlin National Wildlife Refuge encompasses this expansive wetland and upland landscape in Southeast Fairbanks, where the Kalukna River and Tetlin River wind through a complex system of marshes and lakes. The terrain is dominated by the prominent elevation of Titus Paul Hill and the surrounding Tetlin uplands, which provide a stark contrast to the surrounding low-lying basins.
