Bering Land Bridge National Preserve covers the northern half of this terrain, dominated by the prominent volcanic complex of Ear Mtn. The landscape is defined by its radiating drainage systems and several distinct summits, including West Peak and East Peak. Between these heights, deep incisions like Pinnacle Gulch and Step Gulch funnel runoff toward the south and west.
