Coyote Summit provides a natural pass through the high desert terrain of Lincoln County, where the high peaks of Tempiute Mountain and Grants Peak dominate the skyline. This 2012 survey captures a landscape defined by its scarce water sources and mining history, with several named desert seeps such as Old Tikaboo Spring, April Fool Spring, and Sharp Spring appearing at the base of the mountain ranges.
