Teton Village serves as the focal point for this mountain landscape, positioned at the base of the Jackson Hole Ski Area and the towering Apres Vous Peak. The terrain is defined by dramatic elevation changes where the high peaks of Phillips Canyon and Rock Springs Canyon meet the valley floor. Water systems dominate the lower elevations, notably the braided channels of the Snake River and its confluence with the Gros Ventre River.
