Teton Village sits at the foot of the dramatic mountain front where Teton National Forest meets the valley floor. This survey documents the intersection of high-alpine recreation and the historic ranching landscape of Jackson Hole. The topography is dominated by massive peaks including Rendezvous Mtn and Apres Vous Peak, which overlook the complex drainage system of Fish Cr and Lake Creek. To the east, the braided channels of the Snake River converge with the Gros Ventre River, creating a riparian network bounded by West Gros Ventre Butte. The transition from the protected wilderness of Grand Teton National Park to the developing residential corridors along Moose Wilson Road and near Wilson illustrates the area's modern spatial organization.
