Red Wash Reservoir and its complex network of seasonal drainages define this high-altitude landscape in Rio Blanco County. The topography is dominated by significant elevations such as Park Mtn and the steep incisions of Park Canyon, illustrating the high-desert drainages that feed into the larger river systems of the western slope. A series of interconnected washes, including Middle Red Wash, E Red Wash, and W Red Wash, converge in the northern portion of the quadrangle, while the southern half is carved by the various branches of Texas Cr and the winding Missouri Cr.
