1971 Map of The Tetons

USGS Topo · Published 1975

About this map

The Wah Wah Mountains dominate this high-desert landscape in southwestern Utah, where the terrain is marked by remote ridges and narrow canyons. Mining activity is evident throughout the area, with several locations simply labeled Mines or Prospects scattered across the slopes of Blawn Mountain and near The Tetons. These mining interests were supported by a network of primitive transportation routes, including Jockey Road and numerous unnamed trails.
