Tipton anchors the southern edge of this West Oklahoma landscape, where the agricultural grid meets the winding course of the North Fork Red River. The river forms a natural boundary between Jackson and Tillman counties, its meandering path creating a complex network of wetlands and shifting sandbars. To the north, the small settlements of Headrick and Humphreys serve as local hubs for the surrounding farmstead sections, connected by a dense network of county roads such as Co Rd E 165 and N2150 Rd.
