Tryon anchors the northern edge of this Lincoln County survey, established along the corridor of Highway 105 and the grid of Birch Ave and Central. The landscape is defined by the headwaters of several drainages, including the bifurcated flows of Bellcow Cr and N Bellcow Cr, alongside Sand Cr and Dry Cr. This area is marked by a high density of small community burial grounds that reveal the rural settlement patterns of the Oklahoma interior, ranging from the Tryon Cem in the north to the Pleasant Ridge Cem further south.
