Twentymile Butte stands as a prominent landmark in this high-altitude section of the Bruneau Desert, where the landscape is defined by vast plateaus and deep drainages. The 2013 survey shows a sparse network of access routes, primarily Flint Mesa Rd and Bell Rapids Rd, which traverse the open range between Flint Mesa and the gulches to the south.
