Twin Adams Mtn and Thunderhead Mtn dominate this portion of the Beaverhead National Forest, where high-elevation drainage patterns define the landscape of Beaverhead County. The southern half of the map is particularly rugged, marked by a dense network of gulches including Canyon Gulch, Farlin Gulch, and Lime Gulch that carve through the slopes of Limestone Mtn and Greenstone Mtn.
