Wagon Box Spring and the surrounding high plains of the Yellowstone and Big Horn county line define this rural Montana landscape. The terrain is marked by significant topographical shifts, ranging from the prominent Pine Ridge to the deep cut of Rough Coulee in the northeast. This area, largely defined by its drainage systems, features several intermittent watercourses including Mill Cr and Sand Cr which carve through the undulating hills.
