Caribou National Forest dominates the central landscape of this Idaho quadrangle, where the high ridges of the Bannock Range form a dramatic divide. The terrain is defined by a series of deep drainages such as Farmers Canyon and Mines Canyon, which fall away from prominent summits including Wakley Peak and Elkhorn Mtn. To the north, the elevation peaks at Rattlesnake Peak before descending toward the open expanses of Marsh Valley.
