Snoqualmie National Forest defines this high-elevation landscape in Snohomish County, dominated by the hydrology of the Sultan Basin. The northern portion of the map is largely occupied by the City of Everett Watershed, a protected area that encompasses the northern reaches of the Sultan River and the eastern edge of Spada Lake. This 2014 survey documents a region managed for both resource protection and public access, with the Olney Park Recreation Area located near Wallace Lake in the southeast. A network of Forest Service roads, including Sultan Basin Rd and Corona Mine Rd, provides access across Sultan Ridge and through Olney Pass. Small alpine water bodies like Jay Lake, Shaw Lake, and Cecelia Lake are scattered across the drainage basins of the N Fork Wallace River and Olney Cr.
