The Green River meanders through a valley of high plains and sagebrush in this western Wyoming landscape, passing through the distinctive topographic feature known as The Narrows. At the southern end of the sheet, the Warren Bridge crossing serves as a key landmark, situated near the broad expanse of Forty Rod Flat. The hydrology of the area is defined by the confluence of mountain-fed streams, including Marsh Cr, Forty Rod Cr, and Spring Cr, which feed into the larger river systems that sustain the local livestock and ranching traditions.
