Warrior Swamp dominates this Taylor County landscape, a complex drainage system where Athena Warrior Cr and Spring Warrior Cr flow through dense wetlands toward the Gulf. The interior is dotted with numerous small bodies of water including George Ann Lake, Big Lilly Lake, and the evocative Bear-Harbor Lake. While much of the terrain remains undeveloped, the southern portion shows more active human presence with the Ezell Airport and several local burial grounds like Sandhill Cem and Sealey Cem.
