2024 Map of Watson Flats

USGS Topo · Published 2024

About this map

Watson Flats occupies the southern reaches of this landscape, where the wide plains of Teton County meet a complex network of coulees and drainages. The area is defined by its water-carved topography, including Tin Can Coulee and Hod Main Coulee, which channel runoff across the prairie toward the larger creek systems. Significant portions of the northern and central terrain are protected within the Blackfoot Valley Conservation Area, preserving the open character of the high plains.
