Weirgor and Exeland anchor this northern Wisconsin landscape at the border of Sawyer and Rusk counties. The area is defined by a dense network of hydrologic features, including Weirgor Lake, Deer Lake, and numerous natural springs such as Maple Spring and Buckhorn Spring. These waters feed a complex drainage system led by Big Weirgor Creek and Little Weirgor Creek.
